Quantum Navigator, the new collection by third-generation artist Guillo Perez III combines a David Hockney palette with the Pérez family style of composition. If, as contemporary physicists say, the speed of thought is faster than the speed of light, what then might Pérez’s art say to the viewer as we seemingly begin to contemplate an image before fully seeing it. Could these unique fantasy landscapes wherein the mythological meets with the artist’s projections of the mind bring the viewer to an almost out of body experience?
